We offer center-based services for children 2 years to 12 years.
Growing Minds Behavioral Services is sponsoring a Parent Support Group. Meetings are held once a month on the third Tuesday of the month at We Rock the Spectrum Kid's Gym in the party room. Meetings are 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. All are invited to join this group. Meetings are facilitated by Esther Harris BCBA. Esther joins the many parents with a special needs child of her own. Esther's son was diagnosed in 1998 at the age of 10, when ABA was not readily available, and support was limited.
Esther found that when parents come together and share their stories of struggles and success, moving through the world of Autism is much easier. This is a parent-facilitated group and our children are the topic. Come sit with us and share your stories, struggles, and success, and support those who are finding life a little stressful.
Children are welcome and a staff member of Growing Minds Behavioral Services will be available to watch your child play as you relax with others.
Refreshments will be provided.
